There is still some TerraVin Pinot Noir is 2011 left in the UK. This was a moderate yielding vintage with a good flowering that was backed up by a classic Marlborough summer. The smaller berries ensured good concentration and the warmth ensured nice balance of acid, PH and lower alcohols.

Pale to medium ruby--‐purple colored, the 2011 Pinot Noir has aromas of red cherries and red currants with hints of dried herbs, stems and tree bark. Medium bodied and delicately fruited on the palate, it has a low level of chewy tannins, very crisp acidity and a medium to long finish. Drink it now through 2015.
The 2011 vintage (★★★★) of this Marlborough red was grown at three sites, on the south side of the Wairau Valley and in the Awatere Valley. Matured in French oak barriques (20 per cent new), it is a 'feminine' style, ruby-hued, floral and supple, with fresh, strong plum and dried-herb flavours, a subtle seasoning of oak, and very good vigour and depth.
Full aromas of dark raspberry fruit unfold to reveal subtle savoury herb and mineral nuances, building in depth to show complexing earth and mushroom notes. Medium-full bodied, this has a concentrated core of raspberry essence fruit flavours with growing succulence and richness.
‘A blend of grapes from three hillside vineyards. Terravin Pinot Noir always seems to possess a level of concentration and integrity that raises it well above the Marlborough average. Perhaps not as intense as the 2010 vintage this rich, fruity and well structured wine has enough stuffing and backbone to allow it to age well.’
